Season 4 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 is live, bringing a new battle pass, more DLC weapons, and new maps. Activision has revealed the full patch notes for the big update, which include armor and health changes for Warzone 2, weapon balancing, and more. Here is everything changing with Season 4.

According to the patch notes, Season 4 brings major changes to Warzone 2. Player health is increased now across all maps and modes, including Ranked Play and DMZ. The base health has been increased from 100 to 150, With full armor plates, the combined total health will now equal 300. The regen delay is increased from five to seven seconds.

To help with the added time-to-kill from the health changes, the update also brings adjustments to armor plates and munition boxes. Players will now automatically pick up nine armor plates, which includes three in the active loadout slot and two full stacks in the backpack. They will also receive a fixed number of six plates from armor boxes regardless of how many they already have. Additionally, a fixed stack of weapon ammo will now be received from munitions boxes.

The rejoin feature is currently in beta for Warzone 2 in Season 4. Players who experience a client crash on their device will be able to reconnect to their match within four minutes, but must meet a specific criteria. The player must have at least one squad member remaining alive, and there must be at least five squads remaining in the match. The rejoin option is not available for solo playlists.

The multiplayer side of the update includes adjustments to the map spawns for Breenbergh Hotel, Black Gold, Exhibit, and Himmelmatt Expo. The patch notes also detail weapon location adjustments on Blacksite in the Gunfight O.S.P. mode.

For weapon balancing, most of the changes apply to weapons in the shotgun class. The once-powerful KV Broadside is now nerfed across all modes, with the mid damage being decreased for the gun. The Expedite 12 received a buff to the gun's minimum damage, but the change only applies to Warzone 2.

Adjustments were also made to the Cronen Squall battle rifle, but the changes only affect Warzone 2. When in full-auto, the bullets needed to kill are now increased by 2, but the maximum damage is also increased. When in semi-auto, the bullets needed to kill are increased by 1, and the maximum damage has been decreased for the gun. However, the minimum damage is increased here.

Additionally, the update includes the normal bug fixes and stability updates. For more on the changes and bug fixes, you can find Activision's full Season 4 patch notes below.
